Angry Birds

We had a maths lesson with a difference today, thanks to Little Plastic Man who provided us with some fantastic nets of 3D shapes in the shape of 'Angry Birds'.  Both year 5 classes had lots of fun learning about nets.

Can you name all of the 3D shapes?

Can you name all of the 3D shapes accurately?

RE this week

As part of our RE topic, we have been comparing the features of the synagogue with other places of worship.  We used Fizzbooks, learning logs and our own knowledge to prepare presentations.

We then shared our findings with the rest of the class.

The presentations were very interesting, what can you remember?

Exciting News

Mrs Warner is the teacher from Fieldhead Carr School who helped me to set up our class blog.  She has just sent me an email with some exciting news! Her class blog has been nominated to win an award and has asked me to vote for them.

Why don't you have a look at the Fieldhead Carr Year 4 Blog and see why their blog is so special?

To say a big thank you for giving us so much help with our blog, why don't you vote for them too? I already have!  All you need to do is follow the instructions on their page.
